Homeless in Hamilton Ontario Canada

First off I'm not homeless yet thankfully but it just dawned on me that while this city takes down old buildings to put up new ones there is still the main problem of people living on the streets without a proper home. Like WTF city hall? How about putting that money into helping these people out instead of helping those that already have money.
"they chose to be homeless"
Excuse me but since when is it the homeless's fault for high price taxes and no jobs?
"What can we as city hall do to help?"
EASY!
Tell those rich basters to fuck off and build homeless shelters and programs to help those people get off the street and into a job and a apartment.

There are so many empty and abandoned places around this city that can very easily be converted into a shelter and/or affordable apartment buildings for the homeless / very low income people.

And if you think bringing in more business will help them, trust me it wont. All these new companies require grade 12 or higher and i can bet money that the majority of homeless people in our city don't have a grade 12 graduate, i know i sure don't and can't afford to go back to school. I'm just lucky that i companies like Sheprott K-9 Security and Guarda took me on as a security guard when they did but I couldn't get hired by any other security company because of my lack of education. Same goes for those that don't even have a income.

Anyways i think it would be nice to at least see some kind of effort by city council doing something about helping the homeless.

Did this blog and the tweet i sent to #hamont because every time i go downtime i feel bad when i see people walking around that don't have a home to go to and have to depend on extra change dropped by the kind people just so they can have a chocolate bar for the day.

And theres my rant for today. Tomorrow's blog will be a nerd related blog about what i got planned on a opensim grid called Littlefield Grid.
